Handlers: Maximum of 1 dog per person during 1:1 sessions and classes. Handler switching is allowed.
Children: All children under 18 must be supervised by a guardian at all times.
Weather: Sessions run in all weather unless conditions are extreme/unsafe (in which case we will reschedule). Please dress yourself and your dog appropriately.
Dog Welfare: We prioritise your dog’s safety and comfort. Sessions may be cut short if your dog is distressed.
Dog Interaction: Keep your dog on a leash at all times unless instructed otherwise by the trainer. Do not approach other dogs.
Equipment: We use force-free, fear-free, and pain-free methods. Only flat collars or harnesses are permitted.
The use of slip leads (non-emergency), choke chains, prong collars, or any other aversive tool is strictly prohibited.
Failure to arrive with correct equipment will result in session cancellation without a refund.
Hygiene: Bring poop bags (your dog, your responsibility) and your dog’s water/bowl.
Dog Health: Ensure your dog’s flea, worm, and vaccinations are up to date.
Medical Updates: Inform us immediately of any changes to your dog’s medical history or if they have been exposed to any infectious diseases.
Female Dogs: Notify us if your female dog is in season; we may need to reschedule or change the location.
Honesty: Be open about your dog’s past/present physical or behavioural issues, including any bite history.
Accidents: As a canine first-aid certified trainer, please inform us of any accidents/injuries during a session.

We are not liable for lost/damaged personal property or client-owned training equipment.
We are qualified (IMDT approved), insured (Brooks Braithwaite), and follow a strict code of ethics.
We use ethical, science-based methods. This includes positive reinforcement and negative punishment methods.
We will refer you to other suitable professionals if we believe it is required.
We are legally obliged to report any suspected dog neglect or cases where the dog is an immediate threat to public safety.

In-person sessions are limited to the North East of England and locations at our discretion.
All services are non-refundable but in person sessions can be rescheduled and must be used within the 4/8 week timeframe.
To ensure fairness, we enforce a 48-hour cancellation policy.
Cancellation Deadline: Please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled session if you need to reschedule.
Late Cancellation/No-Show: Any session cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, or a no-show, will not be refunded or credited toward a future session.
In Person Sessions:
4 Week Programme: Your 2 sessions must be used within 4 weeks from your start date
8 Week Programme: Your 4 sessions must be used within 8 weeks from your start date.
Our Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to terminate the agreement and issue a full or partial refund without liability. If we cancel a session, we will reschedule it as soon as possible.
We provide a safe space. Any rudeness, swearing, bullying, or abuse directed toward staff or other clients will result in the immediate termination of the session without a refund.
Confidentiality: All client information is confidential and will not be shared without your consent (except if requested by law enforcement or the RSPCA).
Marketing: We document progress and may share photos/videos on social media to promote our business. Please inform us if you wish your dog’s achievements to be kept private.
Data Rights: You have the right to request access to or destruction of the records we keep. Records are securely stored for 12 months after services end.
